DECLUTTER YOUR CLOSET

When you start decluttering your closet and rearranging it, believe me, it clears your mind. It is so relaxing. As I mentioned in some of my previous posts, it is scientifically proven that when you are stressed and you declutter your closet or your surroundings, it helps you relax.

SELF-STUDY A NEW SUBJECT

Self-studying a new subject is also important. It is not necessary that you should always keep studying that are a part of your curriculum. It does not harm to have some extra knowledge.

LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE

There are about 7100 languages in the world. Learning a new language is a fun activity that is very beneficial.

WRITE LETTERS TO YOUR PAST AND FUTURE SELF!

Sometimes it is ok to reflect on past events not to count your regrets but to count the number of blessings and to see how far you have come and what all you have achieved in life when compared to your past self. And be grateful for where ever you are standing today. Write a letter to your past self and pat your back for being so strong.

And now think about your ambitions, your goals, and dreams and write a letter to your future self about how you feel now and what are the things you want to achieve and you will be grateful in future for this letter.

SPEND TIME IN NATURE

Spending time in nature calms you down and is known to be effective in controlling blood pressure levels. When you want to take a decision about something spend time in nature. This helps you to relax and clear your mind and is an amazing place for spending some “me time”.

DEVELOP A ROUTINE

Most of us do not maintain a proper routine. In order to achieve what you want; you first need to develop a new routine. A routine can help you in maintaining discipline and it gets easier to achieve your goals. But do not forget to love yourself and include some self-care time in your daily schedule.

HAVE A PHOTOSHOOT

Instead of just scrolling mindlessly and wasting your time. Get up, get ready, and take pictures. This will surely make you feel good. Do it for yourself. Try new filters and techniques in photography.


READ A BOOK

What happens when you read?

  • READING REDUCES STRESS LEVELS
  • BOOKS PROVIDE MENTAL STIMULATION

So read a book. It will benefit you in many ways.

Sometimes we tend to have many unnecessary pictures and videos, and extra storage in our phones that takes up a lot of space. Believe me! You will feel awesome after doing so.

CREATE A VISION BOARD

Creating a vision board is not just fun, but it also helps you make a picture and makes you imagine your goals. So, make a vision board and imagine how you will feel when you achieve a particular goal. It always starts with one idea or a thought.

My conclusion is whenever you get time, spend it in a productive way!
