SELF-LOVE IS NOT EASY!
You may have heard the quote that says, “self-love is not selfish!”. Yes, it is not! Little do you know that practicing self-love is one of the hardest things I have ever known. It takes a lot to love yourself when you want to beat yourself up for all your past mistakes. When your anxiety keeps reminding you about all the embarrassing moments that happened in your entire life. And especially when you do not wake up feeling comfortable in your skin. Those days when you feel ugly and feel that you are not good enough add up to your anxiety.
But you must learn to be grateful for whoever you are and for whatever you have in life. And accept the fact that what you did not get and could not achieve was not good for you. You have to forgive yourself and not blame yourself for whatever bad happened. It only made you stronger and made you the amazing person you are today.
Life is not always easy and the scars that you have, you must be proud of them. For they are not a flaw but a proof that you fought your battles. You must learn to love yourself because you have to survive in this world that tells you otherwise. Embrace all of it, even the pain. Because you have to bear the pain that is written for you and heal on your own. It is okay to be imperfect in this world which challenges you to be flawless and perfect.
You must love yourself irrespective of the circumstances you are in and do not let anyone make you question your worth. All you have to do is love yourself, heal yourself, be happy and keep moving ahead in the journey of life. Learn to choose yourself and your happiness over everything. And ignore all the negative vibes people give because some people are like demons. They can never see you happy and can never see you grow and do the right things. Anyways life goes on with or without whoever or whatever and do not let people tell you otherwise.
