READ THIS AND START LOVING YOURSELF!
STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP!
Do you take care of yourself when you are having a bad day or a bad week? Do you tell yourself “YOU GOT THIS!” when you are in the middle of achieving a goal or you are frustrated because you are stuck somewhere? Well! Most of us tend to beat ourselves up for being stuck in a situation or not being able to deal with a situation! But what we actually need is self-motivation and self-love. Beating yourself up for not being able to achieve a goal or even negative self-talk can take a toll on your mental health!
Here are some ways to avoid self-hatred and love yourself!
STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS
As I mentioned in almost all of my posts, stop comparing yourself to another person. You have a different body, personality, soul, and a different life. God made you in a unique way. And when you are comparing yourself to another person maybe you are comparing your first chapter to their tenth chapter. Realize that you have your own different purpose in life.
DO NOT WORRY ABOUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY
When you are going through something, people will not come and help you. These people will only see the iceberg of your success but they fail to notice the submerged hard work part. People will look at your flaws and judge as if they are flawless. But if you keep thinking about what will people say, you will never get over your insecurities.
YOUR WORTH DOES NOT DEPEND ON SUPERFICIAL THINGS
Most people will judge you based on your looks, complexion, appearance, gender, social status, etc. That judgment is not even worth your attention. Your skills, your hard work, and your achievements matter. Every human is beautiful and you must be busy building your life.
YOU ARE A HUMAN AND YOU WILL MAKE MISTAKES
You will learn and grow when you make mistakes. Nobody is perfect, every person out there makes mistakes. But as you grow older, you are pressurized not to fail. You must cut yourself some slack and make mistakes so you can learn and grow from them. You are constantly evolving and growing.
DO NOT BE AFRAID TO CUT OFF PEOPLE FROM YOUR LIFE
If there is someone who brings toxicity into your life and they will take responsibility for it, you need to step away from them. Do not be afraid to cut them off. Believe me, it is liberating and crucial, even though it may be disturbing now. You need to protect your energy. It is not rude or wrong to liberate yourself from situations or the company of people who are draining your energy.
PUT YOURSELF FIRST
Do not feel bad about doing this. Most of us are accustomed to putting others first. Although there is a time and a place for this, it should not be a habit that costs you and your mental and emotional well-being. Without recharging you will put a serious strain on yourself. Whether it is spending a day in bed or playing outdoors in nature, find what helps you release stress and dedicate time to this.
