Things that destroy your mental peace


Mental peace is the first and the most important thing to be remembered while taking care of your mental health. You need mental peace to keep yourself sane. You need to take care of yourself and your mental health in order to be happy, satisfied, and successful in life. In order to concentrate on your career, work, studies, etc you have to make yourself happy and healthy. 

Things that can destroy your mental peace are


1. Being far away from God:


This is not just advice, this is my personal experience in life. Being far away from God will fetch you nothing but your own loss. He is your creator and you must consider him as your best friend first. Talk to him in happiness, sadness, pain, and relief. When you need answers in life, ask Him, He will show you away. You need to talk to him to gain and maintain mental peace. 


2. Letting others opinions dictate you:

I keep mentioning this thing in every other post of mine. Anything that people say must not affect you in any way. Do not let other’s opinions, judgments, or domination keep you away from your goals, or do not let it ruin your mental peace. Your life is yours and you need to live it not waste it. 


3. Having grudges or hatred:


Having grudges or hatred towards anyone will keep you away from success and when the person appears in front of you, it will ruin your mental peace. Do not let your anger or hatred or anything negative overpower you. The best and most successful people are those who forgive and forget no matter how much they have been through. 


4.Gossiping about people:

I think there is no point in gossiping about others. Gossiping just takes away your energy and your concentration. Do not concentrate on other people’s lives and just concentrate on your life and you will be successful and happy. Is any other person or their personal life that important to you that you are wasting your time on them? 


5. Not doing the right thing:

Sometimes we do not know how to react in a situation and that is OK. You do not have to react to everything. But sometimes we tend to overthink and do not react where we have to and sometimes we become impulsive and we do things where it is totally unnecessary to do it. Keep calm and try to do everything smoothly and with a positive mindset


6. Not expressing your emotions :

When you do not tell people how you feel about a particular situation or thing, people will keep forcing their decisions and stuff on you. You do not have to handle their stuff and listen to their decision and you should learn to say NO and show how you feel about a particular situation and leave. 


7. Not following your passion:

This is the worst thing you can do to yourself. Not following your passion is the most torturing part according to me. At the end of the day, all you will have is you. Loving yourself and treating yourself with what you want is an important part of self-care and keeping your mental health in a good condition. 


Mental peace when disrupted can lead to stress which in turn can lead to conditions like anxiety, depression, and all other stress-related diseases. This was just a reminder to keep yourself healthy and sane. Love yourself and find peace within yourself
