MEN WILL BE MEN!!

Hey there, Let us talk about something which is not common. 

Life of a man! 

A man is always pressurized to have control over his emotions. People say men should not cry. Over the years as the we evolved people actually believed in this theory of masculinity. They have feelings too and they want to express it. I think it is important for a human to express their emotions, to release their frustration and have good mental health. 

As soon as a boy starts learning different things even as a child he is taught a very famous quote as you know, MEN DO NOT CRY. Stuffing a boy with this Male Ego just to make him feel more superior and stronger is what people do. Especially if he grows up in a family where there are patterns of patriarchy and where he has to take up all the responsibilities. The position his father holds as the head member of the family in the future. 

As he grows up and starts making friends and gets along with his friends, he learns “Are you a girl?” Or something like “Why are you crying like a girl?”. And that is how he totally forgets how to show his vulnerable side. All the insecurities, fears, shame, dreams, family pressure, peer pressure and thoughts about the future. Responsibilities of a son, brother, husband and a father haunt a man so much that it is suffocating for him. But he is always expected to be strong. 
One thing I want people to understand is being a feminist or even the idea of feminism or women being independent will not put men down. Feminism is not misandry. 

A’S POV:

There is nothing more attractive than a man who puts his ego aside and shows his most vulnerable side to his better half. And expresses his heart out instead of trying to show how macho he is, which will in turn add up to his overthinking and insecurities. 

The basic things I expect from the man of my dreams is loyalty, honesty, love and attention. Understanding and being understood can help you till the end.
