Tahajjud gives inner peace and calm, spiritual tranquility and an overall relief. All the believers are aware of the power of Tahajjud prayer. At the time of Tahajjud, Allah comes to the first heaven to accept prayers and forgive sins of the person who offers this beautiful nafl prayer.

This Nafl prayer has already a lot of benefit. But if one offers this prayer in last ten days of Ramadan, the virtue of tahajjud increases even more.

  • TIME: Last third of night before Fajr Prayer.
  • METHOD: To pray Tahajjud, wake up before Fajr by approximately 30 minutes. Make Wudhu, then perform at least two rak’ahs. You can pray as many rak’ahs as you like, and make dua in sujood after the prayer.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah Almighty slowly draws near until the first half of the night has passed. Then, He orders a heavenly caller to say: Is anyone calling out that he may be answered? Is anyone seeking forgiveness that he may be forgiven? Is anyone asking that he may be given?”
