HOW TO BE A LADY?!

BE LADYLIKE!

How to be a lady?

HOW TO BE A LADY?
HOW TO BE A LADY?

Hello dear readers,.

There has been something on my mind lately that I wanted to share and leave a message or maybe I can share my thought as usual. I studied in a convent school. A school that had roots and ancestors from French Nuns. Being a European based background and being a girls school, our school always strictly taught us how to be ladylike!?

It was a great idea though! Teaching young girls how to walk like a lady, how to speak like a lady, how to behave like a lady. Everything we learned was taught by keeping in view the future of a girl who had to be a lady. A lady who has to look after her family, be patient, and has to bring up her children in a very beautiful way.

Later, as time changed, we also learned that dreaming, setting and achieving goals, demanding gender equality are also important. Focusing on our carrier, standing on our own feet, and making parents and school proud is also something we must give a thought about.

We were taught to aim high, to reach for the stars, and to do our best. To be honest in everything and leave in God’s hand the rest. We shall always love our school. And will not forget how they taught us to be a graceful, polite, and gentle lady.

BUT…

Once take a look from my point of view. The things I experienced after stepping out of school life taught me that sometimes you cannot be a soft-spoken, gentle, polite, sensitive lady and fight the world alone. You have to take the rose-tinted glasses off and be as hard as a rock (be a diamond).

You have to be loud and clear, assertive, you must learn to say NO. Make yourself satisfied and proud before making anyone else proud, love yourself and take care of yourself, and many more (the list goes on and on). Because at the end of the day, the only person standing by your side is yourself (always and forever)

So love yourself and find peace within yourself!
