Do these things for yourself! Now! While we keep hustling hard in our daily lives, we tend to forget to practice self-love and self-care. And sometimes we need to stop doing what we are doing and take a break. Not because we want to give up, but just to pamper ourselves for all the difficult times we go through in life. So, just chilling and relaxing can also be helpful, especially when you are unable to have a productive routine. And taking a break can speed up your process when you resume it.

Do these things for yourself!

  1. Read your favorite book
  2. Write down a list of the things you like or love about yourself
  3. Write a gratitude journal
  4. Take a nap in the middle of a task (because a power nap helps)
  5. Eat your favorite dessert
  6. Relax! And put your facemask on (do not tell me that you are a boy and you do not like facemask. Just put it on)
  7. Take a walk in nature (greenery will make you feel good and also fresh oxygen calms your mind)
  8. Snuggle with your pet (studies have shown that pets are stress-busters)
  9. Close your eyes and get lost in your dream world for a while.
  10. Try meditation and yoga (calms your mind)
  11. You can also some new exercises (because it makes you more active)
  12. Try creative things like art, craft, and writing
  13. Talk to yourself! Have your own little TED talk
  14. Go on a long drive with windows down and your favorite music
  15. Avoid or cut-off people who give you negative vibes (vibe-check is very important)
  16. Surround yourself with people who inspire you and give positive vibes
  17. Learn to forgive yourself for all the mistakes
  18. Buy yourself chocolates, accessories, flowers, or any other things you like
  19. Watch a movie you always wanted to watch
  20. Try to cook or bake something new
  21. Create tasks or challenges of your own to motivate yourself
  22. Turn off your phone and do something that makes you forget it
  23. Segregate and re-organize your surroundings (if you are not satisfied with them)
  24. Try playing a musical instrument

  29. De-clutter your home (believe me this is so satisfying)
