Girl are you crazy?!

Girl are you crazy?! is the question I hear when I am stressed or anxious. Yes, stress or anxiety precipitated obsessive compulsion is what I was going through in lockdown. Many people tell me that you did not panic at all, did you? or what do you have to worry for? You know what to do! Everything is easy for you, you got it, girl! NO. This phase was not easy for me. I was going crazy just like you people. I have to keep myself busy and I kept myself busy to be sane. Let me tell you what I did.

Studies have shown that when you are stressed and you clean and organize your surroundings, it is a form of therapy. So, my ambiance was clean. I segregate and re-organize my surroundings. Cleaning and organizing your room help a lot. It will reduce your stress and anxiety.

STRESSED ?

WRITE A JOURNAL

Writing down what is going inside your head is also a form of therapy. And also, do not forget to write all that you are grateful for. Gratitude helps you to look at the positive side of the picture.

CHEWING GUM

This might sound silly, but this helps. The waves in your brain are relaxed and your facial muscles are also relaxed. The blood supply brain is also increased.

SPENDING TIME WITH NEAR AND DEAR ONES

Social and moral support from friends and family is also helpful in stressful situations. Spending time with your loved ones promotes oxytocin and serotonin release which naturally helps in reducing stress and making you happy.

SAY NO TO PROCRASTINATION

Procrastination is the enemy of productivity. Keep yourself busy, make a to-do list, take action, have a healthy schedule. This will make you feel that you are being productive and you will eventually stop stressing.

REDUCING CAFFEINE INTAKE

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and energy drinks when consumed in increased amounts can precipitate anxiety and stress. If you cannot stop having any of these, you can reduce your intake. This one worked for me.
