SUNNAHS FOR DAILY LIFE

1. Waking up with the name of Allah –
” Aauzubillahiminashaytanirrajeem Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem, Alhamdulillahilladhi ahyana Ba’ada ma amata wa-i-lai-hin-nushur “
2. Using a miswak or toothbrush upon waking.
3. Washing hands three times upon waking.
4. Making du’a after waking up.
5. Entering and exiting the bathroom with the appropriate du’as.
6. Using the right hand for good things (eating, drinking, giving).
7. Using the left hand for cleaning oneself.
8. Applying perfume (men) regularly.
9. Looking into the mirror and saying the du’a.
10. Sleeping in a state of wudhu on the right side.

SUNNAHS RELATED TO PRAYER

11. Praying in the masjid .
13. Making du’a after salah.
14. Using siwak before every salah.
15. Sitting calmly in salah.
16. Offering Salat al-Duha (forenoon prayer).
17. Praying Witr daily.
18. Qiyam al-Layl (Tahajjud).
19. Saying the du’as for entering and exiting the masjid.

SUNNAHS RELATED TO QURAN AND DHIKR

SUNNAHS FOR SLEEPING

41. Reciting du’as before sleeping.
42. Sleeping on the right side in the state of Wudhu.
43. Placing the right hand under the cheek.
44. Shaking out (cleaning) bedding before lying down.
45. Reciting Surah Ikhlas, Falaq and Nas before sleep and blowing over the body.
46. Forgiving others before sleeping.

SUNNAHS FOR CHARACTER AND BEHAVIOUR

47. Smiling often – It is charity!
48. Greeting others with Salam.
49. Starting with the right in clothing, shoes, and ablution.
50. Being kind and gentle with children.
51. Speaking the truth, even when it is difficult.
52. Not interrupting people when they are speaking.
53. Using people’s names while addressing

SUNNAHS FOR SOCIAL LIFE

57. Visiting the sick.
58. Attending janazah (funeral) prayers.
59. Making du’a for others in their absence.
60. Reconciling between people.

OUR BELOVED PROPHET RASOOLALLAH (SAW)(PBUH) SAID:

“Whoever revives a Sunnah from my Sunnah, and people act upon it, he will have the reward like that of those who act upon it…”
